This WAM VFS-series butterfly valve is engineered for reliable shut-off of gravity-fed or pneumatically conveyed dry materials in cement and powder tanker applications. The 5-inch (DN125) valve consists of a lightweight, high-pressure die-cast aluminum alloy body with a disc and a pre-stressed elastomer seal to ensure a dust-tight closure. It is a crucial component for controlling discharge during unloading and for isolating material flow for maintenance. The manual handle allows for simple and immediate control without the need for pneumatic or electric actuation systems.
