I started working for a large irrigation farm operation when I was 12 years old. I worked on this farm until I graduated high school. We put in very long hours and worked hard; this is where I gained my work ethic. I have worked in the construction industry for over 30 years. I started working for a small ready-mix company in Kansas when I was 21 years old. My main job was a laborer placing and finishing concrete. In 1995 I started working for a large concrete company in Kansas City. I started out as a regional operation manager and had this position for three years. After those three years I was asked to take over the construction and maintenance operations. We built and maintained 25 permanent concrete plant locations as well as setting up multiple portable locations. I worked for this company for over 28 years. While working for the concrete company I developed many long relationships with many vendors, one being Construction Equipment Parts Inc. In May of 2023 I was offered the opportunity to go to work for CEPI as a Nation Batch Plant Specialist, and I accepted the position. I bring a vast knowledge of concrete plants and operations with me. I have been married to my wonderful wife for 28 years and we have a 24-year-old son and 20-year-old daughter. My true passion is the outdoors. I love bow hunting and I also love to golf. I have also been doing taxidermy for over 30 years.
