This is a 4-inch (100mm) red silicone replacement gasket, also known as a valve seat or seal, designed specifically for WAM VFS model butterfly valves. Used in dry bulk powder tankers and cement silos, this seal is installed within the valve body to ensure a tight shut-off when the valve disc is closed. Operators would need this part to replace a worn, torn, or damaged seal that is causing material leakage or preventing the valve from closing properly. The red silicone material is chosen for its flexibility and resistance to high temperatures that can occur during the pneumatic unloading of powders.
