This is a WAM VCP-type pressure relief valve, a critical safety component for concrete batch plant silos. It is installed on the silo roof to automatically vent air when internal pressure exceeds a preset limit during pneumatic filling, preventing structural damage. It also allows air to enter to balance pressure during material discharge, protecting the silo from collapsing under a vacuum. This complete assembly, including a weld-on collar and hardware as shown in the image, is needed to replace a malfunctioning or clogged valve to ensure plant safety and prevent catastrophic silo failure.
