The Badger Meter PFT-3E is an electronic transmitter that provides an unscaled pulse output for various Badger flow meters. It uses a magneto-resistive sensor to generate four pulses for each revolution of the meter's magnet, providing a high-resolution signal for a PLC or batch controller. This signal is then scaled by the controller to measure water volume in standard units like gallons or liters. Designed for reliability, this solid-state transmitter replaces older mechanical versions, offering improved performance and longevity, making it a crucial component for maintaining accurate water batching in concrete production.
