This is a Bray Series 92 rack and pinion, opposed-piston pneumatic actuator, part number 92-0630-11300-532. It provides automated control for 2-inch and 3-inch butterfly valves by converting compressed air into rotary motion. It is commonly found on ready-mix concrete batch plants, often mounted to Bray butterfly valves on Badger water meters, making it a critical component for controlling water flow during concrete mixing. Its modular design allows for direct mounting and is suitable for both on/off and throttling applications.
