This is a WAM V1FS Series 12-inch butterfly valve used to control the flow of dry bulk solids like cement or fly ash in concrete batching applications. It features a single top flange for connection to silos, hoppers, or conveyors, and a bottom section suitable for attaching a flexible sleeve. The valve body is made from a high-pressure die-cast aluminum alloy with an interchangeable cast iron disc, making it a lightweight yet efficient solution for maintenance and replacement on concrete plant equipment. It can be operated with a manual lever, or fitted with a pneumatic or electric gear motor actuator (sold separately).
