The Bray Series 31 is a 3-inch, resilient-seated butterfly valve with a lug-style body made from ductile iron. It is commonly used in concrete batch plants for controlling the flow of water, admixtures, or cement. The lug design is critical for plant maintenance, as it allows a section of pipe to be removed while the valve maintains a seal against the upstream pressure. This valve features a high-strength through-stem design and is engineered for bubble-tight shutoff. It is a necessary component for replacing worn or damaged valves to ensure precise material measurement and prevent leaks.
