Butterfly Valve 3" Type Ar1

This is a 3-inch butterfly valve designed for shut-off and throttling control of liquids and powders in concrete batch plant applications. It is commonly installed on water lines with water meters or on cement and fly ash silos and weigh batchers. Replacement is necessary when the valve fails to seal properly, leading to leaks, or when the actuator fails, preventing proper opening and closing. The wafer-style body is designed to be installed between two pipe flanges.

Also used on Con-E-Co and McNeilus plants for cement and fly ash silos or weigh batchers. Stephens Mfg. uses Bray butterfly valves as a standard for cement and water service.
