This is a replacement 4" x 10" air cylinder for concrete batch plants, often used for opening and closing aggregate bin gates or controlling valves on weigh hoppers. Constructed with corrosion-resistant materials like a nitro-carburized steel piston rod and aluminum components, it is built to withstand the harsh, dusty environment of concrete production. A new cylinder is needed when air leaks from the piston rod or from the exhaust on the air valve after a full extension, indicating seal failure. This specific model comes complete with a clevis and pin for mounting.
