This 2-inch plant safety relief valve is a critical component for any concrete batch plant's aeration system. Installed on the discharge side of a positive displacement blower, it protects the equipment from damage caused by a blockage in the line. If system pressure exceeds the preset limit, the valve automatically opens to vent excess air to the atmosphere, preventing catastrophic blower failure. Once the pressure returns to normal, the valve reseats. This valve is essential for maintaining the reliability and safety of cement and fly ash aeration systems.
