This is a rotary level indicator, designed for electric signaling of material levels in concrete batch plants and other bulk solid applications. As material reaches the measuring paddle, its rotation is blocked, which actuates a microswitch to signal a full or empty state. This is a critical component for automated material handling, preventing overfilling or running a bin dry. The unit is typically side-mounted on a silo or hopper.
