This is a replacement synchronous motor assembly for Roto-Bin-Dicator and Monitor Technologies KA model bin level indicators. These paddle-style sensors are commonly used in concrete batch plant silos to monitor the levels of dry bulk materials like cement and aggregates. The motor provides the low-speed rotation for the paddle; when material impedes the paddle, the motor stalls and actuates a microswitch to signal the material level. Replacing a failed motor is critical for restoring the automated level sensing that prevents bin overflows or material shortages.
