This is an aftermarket replacement for the Con-E-Co 145800 adjustable air muffler. It is installed on the exhaust port of pneumatic air valves or cylinders within a concrete batch plant's aeration or gate systems. Its primary function is to reduce the noise generated by exhausting compressed air. Additionally, its adjustable flow control feature allows maintenance personnel to regulate the exhaust speed, which in turn controls the actuation speed of pneumatic cylinders for precise operation.
