This is a normally-open, single-pole, single-throw (SPST) temperature switch designed to activate at 195°F (91°C). It is a critical safety component for the hydraulic systems on rear discharge concrete mixers. When the hydraulic fluid exceeds the safe operating temperature, the switch closes the electrical circuit, typically activating a warning light or buzzer in the cab to alert the operator of an overheat condition.
