This is a Keystone AVID 791L series pilot-operated solenoid valve, part number 791L-412-C4AA-00. In a concrete batch plant, this valve controls the flow of compressed air to a larger pneumatic actuator, which in turn opens or closes a process valve (like a butterfly valve) for materials such as water or admixtures. This valve is essential for the automated control of the batching process. Its robust, black anodized aluminum body and NEMA 4/4X rating ensure durability in harsh plant environments. The NAMUR interface allows for standardized, direct mounting to actuators, simplifying installation.
