This is a Seal Saver brand protective boot for hydraulic cylinders, specifically for the lift axle on McNeilus rear discharge mixers. Made from durable Kevlar, it wraps around the cylinder rod and secures with Velcro, allowing for installation in minutes without any equipment disassembly. This boot protects the cylinder's rod and seals from abrasive concrete, dirt, chemical washes, and other contaminants that can cause scoring and premature failure. Replacing a worn or missing boot is critical preventative maintenance that extends the life of the entire hydraulic cylinder, reduces downtime, and prevents costly repairs.
