The Con-Tech Bar-Drum Sprayer Assembly is an external water spray bar for rear discharge concrete mixers. The bar is shaped to follow the contour of the mixer drum and is installed using simple bolt-on brackets. This assembly is used to keep the drum shell clean, which promotes a positive company image, and to cool the drum on hot days to help keep the concrete mix within temperature specifications. The system includes a filter screen to prevent nozzles from clogging with scale or other contaminants from the water tank and is operated with a simple ball valve.
