This is a replacement chute latch plunger for older Rex or Rexcon rear discharge concrete mixers. The part functions as the bolt in a manual chute locking mechanism, securing the concrete chute in place during transit or operation. The hexagonal shaft allows for rotation with a handle or tool to engage and disengage the latch, while the hole at the end of the shaft is for a retaining pin.
