This is a high-pressure cutoff switch for the air conditioning system in the cab of an Oshkosh front discharge mixer truck. The switch monitors the refrigerant pressure on the high-pressure side of the A/C system. If the pressure exceeds a preset limit (typically due to a blockage, overcharge, or fan failure), the switch opens the electrical circuit to the compressor clutch, shutting it down to prevent catastrophic failure.
