It is installed in the engine's cooling system to precisely control the amount of hot coolant entering the cab's heater core. Operators need to replace this valve when it fails to open or close, resulting in a loss of cabin heat or an inability to stop heat from entering the cab. This cable-actuated valve is a direct replacement for the original equipment component within the cab's HVAC system.
