This is a 7/8"-9 x 3-1/2" 12-point counterbore style mounting bolt for the drum drive on Terex front discharge mixers. It is used to fasten the ZF or ZT mixer drum drive gearbox to the rear pedestal. On Terex Advance mixers, these bolts are installed without nuts, as the pedestals are threaded. Due to the high stress and vibration of the drum drive system, these bolts are a critical component for ensuring the drum remains securely attached and are a common replacement part during maintenance. A recent safety recall highlighted the importance of proper torque for these bolts to prevent drum separation. Six bolts are required per gearbox.
