It acts as a ventilator, allowing a free flow of clean air into the tank as the hydraulic fluid level changes, which prevents a vacuum from forming. The internal filter element protects the hydraulic system from contamination by blocking airborne dirt and dust particles as small as 40 microns, ensuring system longevity and performance.
