This Eaton A-Pad Cover Plate is designed to seal the SAE A auxiliary mounting pad on Eaton hydrostatic and medium-duty piston pumps. It is commonly used in the hydraulic systems of concrete mixer trucks, including McNeilus, Terex, and Con-Tech models, to blank off the charge pump or tandem pump mounting location when not in use. Installing this cover plate prevents hydraulic fluid loss and protects the internal pump components from dirt and contamination. The plate is typically installed with an O-ring and two cap screws for a secure, leak-free seal.
