This collector chute wiper boot, also referred to as a drum wiper, is a crucial maintenance component for McNeilus rear discharge concrete mixers. It mounts near the collector chute to wipe away excess concrete, preventing hardened buildup and keeping the discharge area clean during operation. Measuring 15 inches in length and 4.5 inches in width, it is manufactured from durable rubber to withstand the abrasive ready-mix environment. Replacing worn wipers ensures smoother operation, reduces manual cleanup time, and minimizes wear on surrounding components. Note that two wipers are required per mixer truck.
