The McNeilus Chute Lock Clevis Assembly is a critical linkage component for the pneumatic chute locking system on rear discharge mixer trucks. It threads onto the rod of the air brake chamber (typically a Type 16 canister) and uses a steel pin to attach to the chute lock clamp cam, allowing the air cylinder to securely lock the concrete chute in place during transit. This complete assembly includes the 1/2-inch fine thread (1/2"-20) clevis yoke, clevis pin, and retaining cotter pin. Replacing a worn clevis prevents excessive play in the chute lock mechanism, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
