The Terex 11478 Water Temperature Coolant Sender Sensor is a critical powertrain component for Terex Advance front discharge mixers equipped with Caterpillar engines. This specific sensor features a stud/nut electrical connection and is responsible for sending accurate coolant temperature readings directly to the operator's dashboard gauge. It mounts on the side of the engine intake and is used in conjunction with a separate temperature alarm sender. Replacing a faulty sender ensures the operator can properly monitor engine operating temperatures and prevent costly overheating damage.
