This motion control valve block, also known as a CB4 block or rear counterbalance cylinder control block, is a critical safety and operational component for rear discharge mixer trailing axles. It mounts directly to the rod end of the Bridgemaster or BridgeKing hydraulic cylinder. The valve prevents the trailing axle from lowering unexpectedly if the truck is turned off or if hydraulic pressure is lost by trapping oil in the cylinder's rod end. It also regulates the speed at which the trailer axle lowers, ensuring smooth and controlled operation.
